Text Cypher

First, this is not a traditional cypher!  This is FAR more secure as it uses a pseudo-random number generator to modify each byte value rather than assigning numbers to letters.  For example, a value of 103 could mean anything from "A" to "~" depending on where it appears in the byte array, whereas with a cypher, 103 would always return the same symbol regardless of where it appeared.  The encoded text is virtually impossible to decypher without a copy of this tool and the key used to generate it.

To use, follow these steps:

1)  Input the text you want to decode/encode in the top text box.

2)  If you are using a purchased version, assign a new key or input the key used to encode in the second box.

3)  Click either the Encode button or the Decode button to perform that operation.

4)  Output will display below the buttons.  Right click here to "Select All" and "Copy".

The encoded text can be decoded from any computer using this app by inputting the encoded text and key used to generate it, then hitting "Decode".  This will allow you to send the encoded messages over the internet or any other medium without anyone (except the people you give the key to) from understanding it.

For security, inputted text and keys are not stored, so be sure to write down or memorize the key you used!
